Dear members,

A big thanks to all those who attended and encouraged our budding talents during May CCC event! Our vocalists Geeta Shankar, Shruthi Jagannathan, Sanika Pande, Yogitha Bala, Rajeev Devanath, Ashwat Subbaraman, Urmika Balaji, Kanav Tirumala, and Adithya Narayanan put together a fantastic treat for all those who attended. Rajeev, Ashwat and Adithya gave their intro performances and won great appreciation from our friendly CCC audience. Kanav’s Mohanam, Urmika’s Lathangi, Yogitha’s Panthuvarali, Sanika’s Hamsanandhi, Shruthi’s Kalyani and Geeta’s Mother Day custom RTP in Dwijavanthi were quite impressive. Ranjani and Rahul showcased another talent of theirs on CCC stage for the first time by accompanying on the violin and Mrudangam respectively, thus adding themselves to the accompanists pool. String accompanists Saranya, Ananya, Adithya, Srivas, Gowri, Aparna and Divya enhanced their respective performances with their string support while mrudangists Shrikanth, Sriram, Avinash, Ananth, Akshay Aravindan, Pranav, Srivatsan and Ajay anchored each performance with their superlative percussion support.

Our Feature-A-Guru segment presented by Vidushi Smt Kasthuri Shivakumar had extremely valuable tips for our performers on voice modulation! It’ll be extremely beneficial to students (and the audience!) if they remember and apply the techniques she suggested and our sincere thanks to her for openly sharing so much valuable information she has collected over many many years of involvement in music.

Our volunteers are the best and I can vouch for each one of our CCC volunteers anywhere, anytime!!! They take it on themselves 100% and do the work with so much enthusiasm and involvement, CCC is so lucky to have them all! Thanks to our moms (Kalpana, Mala and Meena) for bringing tea for our volunteers and the performers parents for helping out before/after the event with setup.

Most awaited part is here: Photos and Video excerpts from the event, courtesy of Prasanna, hope you enjoy them!

Please save Sunday, June 12th from 2pm to 5pm for our next event.

Good luck to all students facing end-of-year finals/projects etc.

Regards,

Padma Mohan
