Carnatic Music Idol - 2011

Dear members,

All of you may know already, the prelims for the west coast region ended last Sunday and about 41 children participated in all. Fourteen (14) talented and brave musicians from CCC participated and did well in the competitions and three (3) of them moved on to Finals, Divya Mohan (Senior), Geeta Shankar (Junior), Pragathi Guruprasad (Junior), one got Star Kid (Vedika Iyer in the Junior category) award. CONGRATULATIONS to all those who participated and all those who won!

Finals will be held this coming Saturday (visit http://www.bondsforever.com/carnatic_idol.html for details), please do come and watch this exciting event and support our CCC stars! It will also be exciting to watch all the other talent from other regions (Atlanta, Chicago, New Jersey) compete against our bay area talent, most of whom you all may already know.
