Dear members,

It was indeed a very fulfilling event yesterday! A heartfelt thanks to those who took the time to attend and celebrate Mother’s Day with us! We introduced brilliant performances by Kriti and Prisha on the vocals, Alaap on the violin and Akshay Suresh on the Mrudangam. It felt extremely good to watch our repeat performers do so much better than last time, overcoming the shortfalls from before and/or showcasing a much improved musical progress. Kudos to Ambika, Rahul, Shivani, Shruthi, Vishaka, Sumedh and Shrikanth on the vocals, Srishiva, Apurvaa, Aishwarya, Ananya, Prahlad, Omsri, Aditya and Aparna on string accompaniment, Sachin, Shreyas, Avinash, Vishal, Santhosh, Vivek, Pranav, and Srivatsan on the Mrudangam. Thanks to all the teachers who trained the students for their performance at CCC and for their thoughtful selection of compositions on the Divine Mother to present at our Mother's Day event! Special thanks to the teachers who make it a point to attend the events in person which serves as a great moral support and encouragement for our children.

Feature a Guru segment Vidwan Sri Ravindrabharathy Sridharan brought to stage thoughtful questions on music journey and how to inspire children for them to gain a deeper appreciation for music. Remember the Iceberg!!! The timing of this presentation is so appropriate that our children can use the summer break to reflect upon Sravanam and Sadhagam along with reading biographies of stalwarts! Thank you Ravi for all your efforts to do this presentation and for your enthusiastic support to CCC always!

We had Prasanna back on camera after a long while and his captures are here already! Thanks for the awesome clicks Prasanna!

Our sincere thanks to all our core volunteers for helping with back end jobs before, during and after our events. Thanks to the parents who helped out yesterday at the event during setup / cleanup and special thanks go to Ramya Bala, Meena Jagan, Vidya Murali, Nithya Ashok, & Veena Suresh for their kind gesture to provide our volunteers hot tea and delicious snacks. They were truly appreciated by our hard working men & women!

Please save Sunday June 11th from 2pm to 5pm for our next event!

Regards,

Padma Mohan
