Dear members,

Lots of new faces, and incredibly talented budding artists of CCC made our March event very special!!! Thanks to all those who attended, and special thanks to those who stayed until the end! It’s incredibly disheartening to see people walk out after some performances. We respect your time by running the events on time and we request you to respect our CCC artists and make an effort to stay through the event.

Shivani’s Lambodara (which is still ringing in my ears), Anika’s cute yet confident Telisirama, Ambika’s carefully chosen (with time in mind) krithis, Samyuktha’s extraordinary Enathu manam, Misha’s amazing Arabhi, Shashank’s striking Sahana, Sahana’s surprising Suruti, Adithi’s dazzling Dhanyasi, and Aparna’s superb Shankarabharanam RTP delighted our audience! Srivas, Yogitha, Ananya, Geeta, Aditya, Shreyas, Priyanka and Vignesh supported our performers on the string side and Srivatsan, Vivek (intro), Shreyas (intro), Adarsh, Vishal, Pranav, Shrikanth, Santhosh, and Akshay V. offered support on the percussion side. General feedback from our audience post event was ‘All CCC kids performed so well and all are so very talented’. Kudos to you!

Adarsh from March line up is celebrating his birthday this month along with few other kids in CCC, and our birthday wishes to all of them.

Our Feature-A-Guru segment presented by Vidwan Sri Vivek Sundararaman had extremely valuable tips for our performers on how to practice varnams! It’ll be extremely beneficial to students if they practice the way he demonstrated!

Dr Shivkumar Bhat’s SSS session 2 was well received by the students who attended it and he covered the first half of the Naattai (Jagadhaananda) pancharathnam meaning. He plans to continue and complete discussing this composition during the next session.

Jayaraman Venkatramani along with the audio team volunteers took care of the audio needs in Nami’s absence and a big thanks to Nami (for training these skilled volunteers) and Jay for stepping in to help us out. Srikanth Mahalingam took care of the ppt work completely in Uma’s absence and ran it seamlessly at the event, thank you Srikanth! Thanks to our moms (Seetha, Meena, Veena S., Sheela) for bringing tea for our volunteers and the parents for helping out before/after the event with setup.
