December CCC, Sunday 14th, 2014

Dear members,

We gave a grand farewell to year 2014 with our fantastic line up in our December event! Thank you to all those who attended the event and witnessed the wonderful performances! We got to introduce a lot of new talents to our enthusiastic and friendly CCC audience and every single one of them did remarkably well, making an impression for themselves!

We had the pleasure of introducing three talented, ALL-NEW to CCC artists, Shreya, Yogitha and Thamba, who gave a fantastic start to our event together. Avinash enthralled everyone on vocals this time with his beautiful Kalyani with support from his green buddies Shreyas and Ananth! SanjaySriram showed us all his other talent with the flute (we all know he sings well too) with able accompaniment from Santhosh. Shasvath stole the show with his cute yet bold performance with help from Shubha akka and Pranav anna. Each of our three main slot performers did a fantastic job during the second half of the event! Amala, Priyanka duet sounded like one voice and Geeta blended in with every aspect of their performance while Ajay stood out with his excellent support! Our CCC rasikas fell in love with Preetika’s Rasikapriya and Malini & Srivatsan definitely have the ‘aruL’ of Murugayya which was evident in their accompaniment! Abi’s fitting finale performance to wrap the year 2014 was in Natakurinji and she impressed everyone with her mature performance enhanced by able support from Priyanka and Akshay Venkatesan. Overall, it was a fantastic event and a treat to those who attended.

We recapped the year 2014 activities at CCC with a short segment and it is only appropriate that we acknowledged the help of our core team volunteers in this event. Thanks once again to Namdev Nayak, Latha Srikant, Prasanna Narayanan, Sriram Iyer, Viji Chary and Priya Hari for their support in 2014 and look forward to working with most of you in 2015 too! Many thanks to our audio team volunteers and parents of the performers who came early to help with setup and to those who stayed back for clean up. Thanks Akila and Radha for bringing chai for our volunteers

We had a productive volunteer meeting after the event and I’ll send out the minutes to those who had offered their help. If you had offered your help but do not receive the minutes by tomorrow, please don’t hesitate to contact me, I may have accidentally left you out.

Please save Sunday, January 11th 2015 (2pm to 4.30pm) for our next event at Shirdi Sai Parivar. We have a lot of exciting new things being planned for CCC in 2015!
