Dear members,
Our "A class" performers gave a fitting finale for 2013 with their wonderful performances today. Apurva, Samvardini, Ashwin and Amala gave a neat presentation in their intro slot performance, while Anirudh, Kavya, Archita and Adarsh showed off their improved renderings. Our accompanists are becoming pros, so comfortable and relaxed on the stage; this obviously brings out their best and I'm very happy to see their performance improve over the course of events. Very proud of our kids for putting up a grand show month after month.
We tried out a lot of new things today, Ustream was appreciated, got a note from couple of our friends who watched it online. However, I think the net was a bit unstable, so we have to fix it before the anniversary event. Thanks to Gopi, Sriram, Nami and Mohan for working on this task. Floor seating proved as a viable means to accommodate more people so thanks for your cooperation with that. Projector has to be moved to the stage by popular vote so Sriram will be working that. Thanks to all the volunteers who help out with a smile, you all make the work so much more fun!
It is Namdev's birthday today and the CCC kids sang a nice birthday song (in Sanskrit) for him as a token of our appreciation! His selfless work in CCC is always appreciated! Hope you had a good time in CCC, Nami!
Please save Saturday, Jan. 11th 2014 afternoon for our next event, will start on the evite for that shortly :) I request the children to keep up with the practices or listen to the recordings to keep in touch with the content and look forward to a fabulous show in January.
