The date of the October meeting of our Timaeus reading group will be on 9 October 2014, Thursday AFTERNOON 15.00 - 17.00., at the library of Philosophy Department, Soochow University (東吳大學外雙溪校區, 第二教研大樓8樓).

As for the text, now we are at a bit before 56d, and will start from the paragraph--

ἐκ δὴ πάντων ὧνπερ τὰ γένη προειρήκαμενὧδ᾽ ἂν κατὰ [56δ] τὸ εἰκὸς μάλιστ᾽ ἂν ἔχοι....

Recently, we usually read two to three Stephanus pages each time.

Anyone who feels interested, please come. Greek is a delight but not necessary

if you are worrying about it. Everyone is welcome.
