Notice: Due to some more problems, both the date and the place of our meeting have been

changed!

The first meeting for our reading group in 2018 will be on this Sunday (28 January 2018), at 13:30.

We will start with Plato's Sophist 241b. Now Theaetetus and the visitor from Elea are trying to give a coherent explanation for so-called "non-being." At 242, they will reflect on the view of Parmenides and that of the Ionians.

Usually we read two or three Stephanus pages each time. As for the place, we will meet at 光一咖啡/光一旅集 地址：台北市羅斯福路三段331號2樓 .

Since the semester has been ended up, I-Kai will fly to Egypt and Hsiao-hsien has returned to Koahsiung. But another ex-student may come. Besides, David has passed his Proposal Defense. (Congratulations to him!)
