上次討論的段落中，蘇格拉底已經表示他要保持安靜、當個傾聽者；接下來，Timaeus將說明宇宙的開始。Timaeus 27e開始，簡要說明「τὸ ὄν 和τὸ γιγνόμενον的對比」以及「『藉由理性的思想』與『藉由感覺的意見』的對比」，逐步解釋柏拉圖對這生滅宇宙的基本看法（宇宙是某物的copy），並以此點出Timaues的描述不能完全等同於真。這一兩頁值得仔細討論。下次讀書會將從29開始繼續研討，一次大約5 Stephanus pages。

We'd like to meet again before the winter vacation. The next meeting of our reading group on Timaeus will be on 11th January 2013, Friday morning, at the Philosophy Department of Soochow University (外雙溪校區, 第二教研大樓8樓, the same room as before), from 10.00 to 12.00.

We will continue to read Plato's Timaeus 29a-34b where we're going through Timaeus' interesting description of the beginning of this Cosmos.
