The next meeting of our reading group will be on this Saturday (25 November 2017), at 13:30.

We will start with Plato's Sophist 237b. After drawing the distinction between two kinds of image-making (eikastike and phantastike), now the discussion has stepped into the problem of falsehood. To account for falsehood, Plato is going to challenge Parmenides' denial of "not-being".

Usually we read two or three Stephanus pages each time.
