22/149. Nowhere to Run (Sin escapatoria)

En la fiesta de compromiso que ANGELA celebra para VICKY y DAN, estos intentan evitarla. Después de que KIT demuestra que necesita despedirse de TONY, RICHARD y PETER se enfrentan con SAUNDERS. MAGGIE va a buscar a su hijo, tras saber que es de CHASE. EMMA sorprende a ANGELA al presentarle a su hijo adoptivo, y, al final, uno de los invitados aparece muerto en las bodegas.

At Angela's engagement party for them, Vicky and Dan set the tone of the party by trying to avoid it. After Kit demonstrates a need to tell Tony good-bye, both Richard and Peter confront Saunders. Maggie arrives looking for her baby, which she now knows is Chase's. After Emma confounds Angela by introducing her adopted son, one of the guests is found dead in the winery.

TONY y LANCE se ayudan mutuamente cuando las pruebas circunstanciales los involucra en un asesinato, pero no sirve de nada al cambiar de opinión ANGELA y romper la promesa hecha a LANCE, ya que prefiere proteger a su nieto que al padre de este. El comportamiento de VICKY y ERIC en la fiesta ponen a DAN en un dilema. FRANCINE HOPE ayuda a MAGGIE y CHASE para contactar con el abogado que se encargó de la adopción de su hijo. RICHARD puede por fin vengarse de ANGELA. MELISSA se convierte en "Veronique, la dama de los barrios bajos" en un club nocturno para aficionados, donde causa sensación.

Tony and Lance assist each other as circumstantial evidence implicates them in murder, but it is to no avail when Angela goes back on her word. Angela breaks her promise to Lance when she realizes that it is more important to protect her grandson than his father. Vickie and Eric's actions at the party make Dan face a dilemma. Francine Hope is able to help Maggie and Chase, who are then able to contact the lawyer who arranged the adoption of their baby. Richard is finally able to realize his revenge on Angela. When Melissa entertains as "Veronique, the Slumming Socialite" on amateur night at a San Francisco nightclub, she becomes all the rage.

El Fiscal del Distrito FRED WILKINSON se alegra cuando ANGELA sugiere que podría presentarse a Fiscal General con su ayuda, si accede a condenar a su ex yerno TONY por asesinato. Furiosa porque PETER hace negocios con RICHARD, ANGELA le pide el divorcio. Cuando MAGGIE es incapaz de encontrara a los padres adoptivos de su hijo, hace un llamamiento en los medios y CHASE ofrece una recompensa. GABRIELLE acepta la oferta de CHASE para controlar sus actividades vinateras. VICKY no puede acudir a nadie salvo a ERIC. MELISSA sigue llevando una doble vida como cantante.

District Attorney Wilkinson is highly pleased when Angela suggests he campaign for attorney general, with her help, if he agrees to convict her ex-son-in-law, Tony, of murder. Angry at Peter for his involvement with Richard, Angela seeks a divorce. When Maggie is unable to find the adoptive parents of their child, Maggie pleads a mother's appeal in the media while Chase offers a reward. Gabrielle accepts Chase's offer to be in charge of his wine operations. Vicky has no one to turn to except Eric. Melissa continues her double life as a chanteuse.

TONY no puede confiar en KIT, ANGELA pone una trampa a MELISSA y RICHARD trata de consolar a MAGGIE planeando un viaje con ella. Sin embargo, aparece alguien del pasado. El mundo secreto de MELISSA se viene abajo cuando ANGELA lo descubre. CHASE decide pedir el divorcio. TONY sospecha que KIT puede haberle usado para alejar las sospechas de ella. ANGELA ofrece a DAN un nuevo empleo.

As Tony begins to mistrust Kit, Angela ensnares Melissa, and Richard attempts to console Maggie. Richard plans a trip for Maggie but a ghost from the past interrupts. Melissa's secret world tumbles when Angela finds out about it. Chase decides to file for a divorce. Tony suspects that Kit Marlowe may have used him in order to remove suspicion from her. Angela offers Dan a new job.

Cuando se celebra la boda de EMMA y KARLOTTI, ella descubre lo buen marido que este es. Para que LANCE vuelva a casa, ANGELA humilla a MELISSA delante de LANCE, RICHARD y DAN. MAGGIE y CHASE siguen la pista de su hijo en BOSTON. Cuando LANCE localiza a KIT, decide pedirle ayuda en el caso de TONY. WILKINSON informa a ANGELA que el acusado está "contra la pared". VICKY y ERIC vuelven casados de su escapada.

When Emma and Karlotti's church wedding concludes, Emma discovers how great her husband really is. In her attempts to bring Lance back home, Angela humiliates Melissa in front of Lance, Richard and Dan. Maggie and Chase search for clues to find their baby in Boston. When Lance discovers Kit's whereabouts, he plans to intercept her in his quest to help his father. Wilkinson reports to Angela that he has Tony "nailed to the wall." Vickie and Eric return from their escapade as a married couple.

27/154. Chain Reaction (Reacción en cadena)

Cuando KIT acude en defensa de TONY, su gesto resulta inútil. El proceso de este comienza tal como el fiscal lo tenía pleaneado, hasta que KIT hace su entrada en sala. CHASE encuentra pruebas de que MELISSA estaba detrás de la falsificación de la prueba de paternidad pero llega tarde para detenerla debido a las amenazas de ANGELA. CHASE y MAGGIE acuerdan divorciarse, y entonces RICHARD ve una oportunidad para ser feliz.

When Kit comes to Tony's defense, the gesture proves worthless. Tony's trial proceeds as if D.A. Wilkinson had scripted it, until Kit arrives at the courtroom. After Chase uncovers evidence that Melissa had engineered the botched paternity test, he is too late to intercept her due to Angela's threats. After Chase and Maggie decide on a quick divorce, Richard sees his chance for happiness.

28/155. Desperation (Desesperación)

ANGELA y PETER se reconcilian, y ella intenta comprar la libertad de su marido. Pero este, enfrentándose a cargos de asesinato, se marcha con KIT. ANGELA descubre que su hijo, al que creía muerto, está vivo. Los desesperados intentos de MELISSA por quedarse con el bebé dan lugar a una persecución automovilística que acaba cuando el coche con MELISSA, DAN y el bebé se precipita en la Bahía de SAN FRANCISCO. CHASE y RICHARD se lanzan al agua para rescatarles, pero sólo el bebé es puesto a salvo. Los demás siguen atrapados.

When Angela and Peter reconcile, and she tries to buy Peter's freedom, Peter, facing murder charges, flees with Kit. Angela discovers that her child, whom she previously believed to have died in childbirth, is alive. Melissa's desperate attempts to keep the baby result in a car chase that ends when the car carrying her, Chase, Maggie, Richard and Dan plunges into San Francisco Bay. Chase and Richard jump into the waters to rescue them, but only the baby may be rescued. The others are still trapped.
