May 18, 1984: "Falcon Crest" finished its third year with a shocking cliffhanger that left us wondering who would survive and who would die. This time, and after the previous season´s Who did Julia kill? mystery, it happened on air, literally: almost every character was put on Richard´s private jet and they left for Tuscany, Italy, to bury late Julia´s ashes. But they actually ended their trip unexpectedly near Denver (where "Dynasty" took place!) the next season. The only ones who stayed home were Cole and Melissa, who tempted newly married boy with her many charms. The Cartel had sabotaged the plane and, aside from Richard, there were Maggie, Chase, Angela, Phillip, Emma, Terry, Michael and Linda (Mary Kate McGeehan). The final shot featured Angela praying while the plane went down down...despite of having Chase as a pilot. One of the least sophisticated season finales of the show, but maybe because it seemed more a way to write some actors out...

Febrero de 1986: "Falcon Crest" terminaba su tercer año con un sorprendente cliffhanger que nos dejaba con la duda de quién sobreviviría y quién no. Esta vez, y después del misterio de la temporada anterior sobre quién había sido la víctima de Julia, todo quedó en el aire, literalmente: casi todos los personajes subieron a bordo del avión privado de Richard y se marcharon hacia la Toscana, Italia, para enterrar las cenizas de la difunta Julia. Pero acabaron su viaje inesperadamente cerca de Denver (donde se desarrollaba "Dinastía"...) la temporada siguiente. Los únicos que se quedaron en casa fueron Cole y Melissa, que tentó al recién casado con sus muchos encantos. La Compañía había saboteado el avión y, además de Richard, en él viajaban Maggie, Chase, Angela, Phillip, Emma, Terry, Michael y Linda (Mary Kate McGeehan). El plano final presentaba a Angela rezando mientras el avión caía...a pesar de llevar a Chase como piloto. Uno de los finales menos sofisticados de la serie, aunque quizá porque parecía más una forma de eliminar a algunos actores...
