January 17, 1986: Angela Channing caught her grandson Father Christopher and her ex-daughter-in-law Melissa embracing, which was to her like finding them in bed! They just had a platonic relationship and some innocent kissing, but Christopher almost had left priesthood for her and she was endangering her marriage to Cole and a happy family life with their son Joseph. The incident only was a way out to the Christopher character, who soon vanished. In the same episode, Julia visited Falcon Crest and confronted her mother about her new-found son; the Giobertis found Robin and she tried to make them believe that Cole wasn´t her daughter´s true father; Dwayne (Daniel Greene) proposed marriage to Emma, and Jordan held a painful meeting with her abusing father J.J. Roberts (John McMartin).

Noviembre de 1987: Angela Channing encontraba abrazados a su nieto el Padre Christopher y a su ex nuera Melissa, lo cual para ella era como encontrarlos en la cama...Sólo tenían una relación platónica y se habían besado inocentemente, pero Christopher casi había dejado el sacerdocio y ella estaba poniendo en peligro su matrimonio con Cole y su feliz vida en familia con su hijo Joseph. El incidente fue una forma de sacar de escena al personaje de Christopher, que pronto desapareció. En el mismo episodio, Julia visitaba Falcon Crest y se encaraba a su madre respecto a su hijo recién hallado; los Giobertis localizaban a Robin y ésta les hacía creer que Cole no era el padre de su hija; Dwayne (Daniel Greene) le pedía a Emma que se casara con él , y Jordan mantenía un doloroso encuentro con su padre abusivo J.J. Roberts (John McMartin).
