Should Creationism Be Taught in Public Schools - Robert T. Pennock

Robert T. Pennock

Dr. Robert T. Pennock was one of the scientists that testified at the Dover Pennsylvania trial on Intelligent Design in October 2005.

We can draw from this article many parallels that can be considered in Hong Kong. Majority of schools in Hong Kong are funded by public money, hence in a way they can be treated as public schools (in fact, for this reason, the Hong Kong Government cannot impose mandatory drug tests on students or to expell students).

The article reviews the new factions within the creationist movement, and theoverlapping views from “young earth” to “intelligent design” creationism, as well as non-Christian varieties,
