教育局認可宣揚神創論教科書 The Education Bureau endorsed Creationism biology textbook

最新消息。我們發現教育局網頁在幼稚園﹑小學及中學教育科學「教育 - 生物」網頁的新高中生物科和組合科學(生物部分)資源目錄 中﹐教育局建議的教科書表中﹐其中一本牛津出版社(中國)有限公司出版的 New Senior Secondary Mastering Biology 有關演化論部份﹐對演化論提出不合理的質疑﹐質疑有關的證據。最令人震驚是教課書提供的網頁 原來是有神創/智慧設計背景。網頁自我介紹他們的宗教背景。

根據我們認識的教育學院老師和現在教中學的老師﹐這書會是很多中學採用的。正如我們所擔懮﹐因為教育局在新高中生物科課程綱要的問題字眼﹐有出版商可能為了迎合個別中學的宗教立場出版了這樣的教科書﹐魚目混珠的把偽科學引入中學﹐而且冠冕堂皇的用教科書的姿態進入。

教育局在二零零九年六月宣佈智慧設計和神創不納入高中生物課程﹐但把關不力﹐居然讓如此荒謬的教科書出現在他們的建議書目﹐真的是天大笑話。

Latest news: we found that in Education Bureau website on Kindergarden, primary and secondary education on curriculum develoment on science - biology provided "Resource List for NSS Biology and Combined Science (Biology Part)". In this list is a list of recommended textbooks on biology the book published by Oxford University Press (China) Limited called "New Senior Secondary Mastering Biology". The section on evolution of this books doubted the evidence of evolution unnecessarily, and even provide a link to a Creationist site. The "teach the controversy" tactics are the result of the problematic statement in the new biology curriculum.

The Education Bureau issued the reply to provide lip service that Creationism/Intelligent Design are excluded from the biology curriculum, but allow such a Creationist book be included in the recommended list of textbooks for biology. They failed even to keep their own gates.

Our group will be closely following this case.
