SUMMARY:

Lacking a quorum (4 of 7), the meeting was not official.

Mailbox Brackets -- Sentry has found a new source for these at a relatively low price of $100.

Activities Fund -- Pam did a fantastic job with the silent auction! Balance is $1,259. This is before the purchase of a flag ($30). The rental on the Palma Sola Botanical Park was $350 for the picnic, which is a package deal with the Board meetings at no charge.

Front Sign -- Ray is getting bids for a new sign. The current sign is starting to rot. Meanwhile, Len Lesjak was recognized for adding flags and flag holders to the front entrance.

Common Grounds -- The trees on the entrance drive have been pruned and look great! A swale behind Lot #49 is overgrown and needs to be maintained. The Association will increase the monthly lawn service payment by $60 to maintain it. The lakes (retention ponds) were recently inspected, and some minor erosion was noted. The current lake maintenance is adequate.

Board Membership -- We have lost two Board members recently, George and Frank. Mike Hogan announced that today's meeting will likely be his last, as his new bank company needs him to handle their business in Gainesville starting very soon. Tyler, currently VP, will become the new Board President. Mike has discussed this with Tyler and he is enthusiastic about his new role.

Board Governance -- The current Board is considering a change from 7 Board members to 5. Steve from Sentry indicated that this change could be made by a simple majority vote of the current Board (4 in favor).
