In my article "Male-line descendants of John Hunt (1749-1831) of New Haven, Connecticut", I state that someone in that part of the tree for Lewis Edward Hunt Sr (1848-1934) m 1873 Burilla Davis (1854-1926), took the Y-DNA test and that their 12-marker results were 13-24-14-11-11-11-12-12-12-12-13-28 I don't know who the person was who took that test.

Those results are also posted at The Hunt DNA Website at FamilyTree DNA in Group 80. In that same group we see Berter Hunt who was born in 1870 (per his headstone) in Kentucky but whose parents are unknown.

We don't know who Berter's parents were, however in the 1880 census of Burdens, Butler County, Kentucky he as "Uberter Hunt" is called the brother of Sarah A Hunt age 23 and James T Hunt age 19, with whom he is living. We can probably assume that these three were orphaned and someone trying to persue the ancestry of Berter should look to the Probate Court records of Butler County.

Berter next appears in the 1900 census of Fleenerville, Butler County, now married to a woman named Paradine. We learn from the Kentucky Birth Records for their daughter Lillie, that Paradine's maiden name was Johnson. The 1880 census lists Paradine Johnson as a daughter of Greenbury Johnson and his wife Malvina, then all living in Butler County, Kentucky. The 1900 census tells us that they were just married that year, probably in Butler County where they both lived, but I'm not certain they were.;At that time they had no children.
