Jim Parsons was born 24 Mar 1973 in Houston, Harris County, Texas; the son of Milton Joseph Parsons Jr and his wife Judy Ann McKnight. In 1990 and 1993 at least, the family lived in the town of Spring near Houston. He attended the University of Houston and then the University of San Diego. His father died in 2001, and that same year Jim moved to New York City. He is most well-known as Dr Sheldon Cooper on "The Big Bang Theory". His mother was yet living, as of 2011.

Milton "Mickey" aka "Jack" was born 6 Feb 1949 in Galveston County, Texas, the son of Milton Joseph Parsons and his wife Mae Alice Johnson. Sometime between 1966 and 1972 he married Judy Ann McKnight. They had two children; James in 1973, and Julie in 1976, both born in Houston. According to the US Public Records Database, Milton and Judy lived in the town of Spring near Houston, at least in 1990 and 1993. He died 29 Apr 2001 in Harris County, Texas and is buried at Brookside Memorial Park, Houston, Harris County, Texas.
