The details:
We provide 8 weeks for all new parents to bond with a new child. This must be taken within 12 months of the birth, placement (for foster care) or legal adoption of the new child, in increments of at least 2 weeks.
We ask that you give your manager and People Operations as much notice as you can of your anticipated leave so you and your team can plan for your absence
Take up to 7 consecutive days for the death of immediate family.
“Immediate family” includes: a spouse, domestic partner, child, sibling, grandparent, grandchild, parent/guardian, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, parent of domestic partner and child of domestic partner.
Available after 1 year of employment
Employees are provided up to 12 weeks of unpaid leave during any 12-month period.
Employees may use this leave a) to care for a child after birth, adoption, or placement with the employee for foster care, b) to care for a family member (biological, adopted or foster child, spouse, domestic partner or parent) with a serious health condition, or c) in the event of the employee’s own serious health condition.
