If you're a full time employee in the US, you're eligible for health insurance starting the 1st of the month after you start! Please see our Plan Benefits guide here. Even if you don't want coverage, you must go through the workflow in Rippling and waive coverage.
Check out the video for a walkthrough Rippling and the tips below for how to get started with your enrollment.
If any of the follow apply to you...
Need some help figuring out which plan to enroll in?
Enrolling Plan A and need help getting your Health Savings Account started?
Do you work from the Austin office and need help understanding the parking/commuter benefit?
....schedule time with People Ops:
There are optional benefits that you can pay for, and non-optional benefits that are paid for by Levelset!
Non-optional (Provided by Levelset):
Basic Life Insurance
Long term disability
Optional:
Medical
Dental
Vision
Voluntary Life
Accident
Critical Illness
If you enroll during Open Enrollment, you'll have access your virtual Aetna card by May 1st. You will also be mailed your physical card in early May. After the enrollment period and once you enroll in your benefits through Rippling, you'll get your Aetna and/or UNUM card in the mail in about 2-3 weeks after your eligible enrollment date. Please note that People Ops won't have the access to send your card.
You can access your virtual card through aetna.com. Create your account. On the home page, click the "View Your ID Card" link. You can find the instructions here!
You can access your dental and vision virtual cards through MyUNUM . If you're not about going to a website to view your cards, you can view them through the AlwaysAssist app.
If you don't want coverage, that's fine but you still have to go into Rippling to waive your coverage!
Note: If you are waiving any of the optional benefits, make sure you select the "Waive Coverage" button that's located to the right of the coverage presented (look right for example) during Rippling enrollment!
"Move to Next Step" button is basically the "Enroll me!" button. It's confusing, but just keep this in mind when you're going through enrollment.
Double check all of your selections when you get to the final summary screen to confirm you've elected and waived each option correctly.
If you did NOT enroll in at least the minimum amount of Voluntary Life during the 2021 open enrollment or at the time you were newly hired, you may still elect Voluntary Life and AD&D coverage in the future, however you must submit an Evidence of Insurability (EOI) form for ANY amount of coverage elected.
Please Slack Terah or Madeline for the EOI form or email at people.ops@levelset.com.
