8th Grade High School Placement Letter

Important Dates to remember:

  • Thursday, September 9th - Attend High School Online webinar to learn about the details of the high school process.

  • Various dates in September and October - Personal High School meeting with Coach Buchanan to discuss high school options and personally complete applications.

  • October 16th and November 13th - SSAT Testing at YSCS (For students interested in private school)

  • Friday, November 12th - Complete School District of Philadelphia Online application

  • December and January - Complete charter school, private, and independent school applications.

  • Friday, January 14th - School District of Philadelphia application results.

February and March - Complete scholarship applications for Young Scholars and various schools.
