Description
This course focuses on argumentative writing. Students will address adult topics, analyze a variety of written texts, improve their reading comprehension, and develop their own writing style. A score of 3 or higher on the AP exam at the end of the year will result in college credit at most universities and will allow students to bypass English 1010 their senior year and advance to English 2010.

This is a 3 credit college course that satisfies high school graduation requirements if students earn a C or better.
