This hands on course will help you as you develop an in demand skill. You will learn welding processes used in today’s manufacturing and construction industry. The focus will be on GAS METAL ARC WELDING (mig welding), OXY-FUEL CUTTING and SHEILDED METAL ARC WELDING (stick welding). Coveralls, welding cap, jacket, hood and cap recommended. Beginning math & blueprint reading.

Description
In this hands-on course you have made to the highest level of welding. You will be able to test your welding skills by performing an AWS welding test to earn a welding qualification. You will be able to build projects and refine your mastery of GMAW, SMAW, OFC, GTAW and FCAW. Weld Tech Intermediate recommended as prerequisite. Coveralls, welding cap, jacket, hood and cap recommended.
Students will learn more advanced skills in all welding processes that will prepare them to apply technical knowledge and skill in the workplace and in project construction. Students will practice and learn appropriate setup techniques for the welders that are used.
