Service procedures include basic electrical testing using test lights and multi-meters, reading basic electrical schematics, battery service, starter service, alternator service, and troubleshooting the various systems. 2 period block. This class is the Capstone of Auto Technology. A Comprehensive study including hands-on repair of the automobile's ignition and emissions systems. Service procedures include scope analysis, compression testing, cylinder leak-down testing, and component testing with digital multi-meter and lab scopes, tune-up, cooling system repair, lubrication system repair, intake systems repair, exhaust repair, engine testing, engine replacement, engine disassembly, cleaning and measurement, and troubleshooting of the various systems 2-period block.
