Latinos in Action (LIA) is a leadership development course designed to empower students through service, academic success, and cultural appreciation. This class provides opportunities for students to develop leadership skills, engage in meaningful service projects within schools and the community, and celebrate Latino heritage. Students in LIA will mentor younger peers, participate in service initiatives, and collaborate on projects that promote positive change. The curriculum emphasizes self-improvement, college and career readiness, and the importance of embracing cultural identity. Through teamwork, public speaking, event planning, and service-learning experiences, students will gain confidence and skills that prepare them for future success. LIA is open to students of all backgrounds who are passionate about leadership, service, and cultural awareness. Whether through tutoring elementary students, organizing community events, or advocating for diversity, LIA members make a lasting impact while fostering pride in Latino culture.

Students will learn how to design a yearbook, capture moments into photographs and create a part of Bonneville's history. Students will be expected to attend various activities, games and events. The yearbook staff are the historians for the year and create a book to store those memories. Join Yearbook to help capture the year and keep your high school memories alive!

Peer tutors will assist students with disabilities during their classes and community experiences. Peer tutors will help these students become more independent by being an appropriate role model in a variety of areas including social, behavior, communication, and academic. Peer tutors will gain knowledge about different types of disabilities and strategies to help these students be more successful. Peer tutors will gain enriching experiences, lasting friendships, and become lifelong advocates for people with disabilities.

This ACT Prep course helps high school students build confidence and boost scores through targeted practice in English, Math, Reading, and Science. Students will learn test-taking strategies, time management skills, and how to approach common ACT question types.
