Blurting
Blurting
Blurting is quite an intense revision method, so you should only try it in short bursts and take lots of breaks.
It is often most effective nearer the end of a revision period, to help you to spot gaps in your knowledge.
This method is where you pick a topic or subtopic that you have been revising, and 'blurt out' (write down) onto your page, mind map or whiteboard everything that you can remember about the topic.
You can then go over what you have 'blurted' using your textbook or notes, and spot gaps in your knowledge. This can help you to decide where to focus your revision.
