Windsor College caters for around 600 students and is part of The Windsor Forest Colleges Group. It attracts many of its students from the local towns of Slough, Windsor and Maidenhead.
Slough is an area of high deprivation with an unemployment rate that is higher than the rest of the South East.
In 2024-25, 53% of Windsor College 16-18-year-old students came from minority ethnic groups. Approximately 14.5% of our learners claim the 16-18 discretionary bursary. The College sets the threshold at household income of £35,000.
While most students study A Levels, a significant number take Level 3 BTEC courses.
Windsor College offers 19 A Level ,9 BTEC subjects and 2 T Levels. The EPQ is available in Year 2 to students who are appropriately qualified. Year 1 students undertake a 1-week work placement.
Students are predicted grades at the end of Year 1 based on performance in internal and external exams and current progress. UCAS predicted grades are positive predictions and the best possible expected final grade.
