Thank you all for your help in starting the year off strong. We have begun organizing student leaders within groups such as Class Officers, NHS, Student Council, and Texan Roots Council. Some students have expressed an interest in serving on a student advisory committee, and we are encouraging them to join Student Council.
The first progress report will be posted today at the end of school. You will see an email notifying you of their availability. If you have any questions or concerns about your student’s grades, please contact their teacher for a conversation on how to improve academically. This is a progress report, so there is still time to get those grades up if need be.
Please note the three dates of interest below. Counselors are hosting Senior Parent Night and Junior Parent Night to go over what students need to do now to progress through their post-secondary goals. I know it seems early, but many of these deadlines and timelines are quickly approaching.
Have a great weekend!

SENIOR PHOTO INFORMATION
This year, Wimberley has partnered with CADY: The Premier Photography Studio. CADY has two beautiful studios you can choose from, one in San Antonio and one in Cedar Park. We encourage you to take advantage of the summer and have your portraits taken at the studio.
About CADY: When it comes to senior portraits, your photo should go beyond a smile and a boring backdrop. With over two decades of experience exclusively devoted to high school portraits, combined with a dream team of dedicated photographers, make-up artists, hair stylists, and image editors, we’ve got a lot of passion for what we do. We’re here to make senior portraits more fun, authentic, memorable, and stunning.
All seniors should sign up for their photography session as soon as possible. Note: Seniors should have their photo taken by December 30, 2025, to ensure yearbook and graduation inclusion.
You will need to create an account with CADY. Our school is listed as Wimberley High School
You will notice several options for your session, everything from an Elite experience ranging from $199-$399 (includes hair/make-up and off-site locations) to a Simple Session for $29 if you are looking for something basic. They even offer a free yearbook-only option that includes your yearbook pose and cap and gown images. Please scroll ALL THE WAY DOWN to view all options.
Session fees DO NOT include photos. There are several photo packages to choose from, and payment plans are available.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact CADY directly here.
Congratulations, Seniors!
ADMIN UPDATES
PLEASE READ: HEALTH SERVICES CONSENT FORM REMINDER
If you haven’t had a chance to complete the Health Services Consent Form for your child, please take a moment to do so here.
All the details are included on the form itself. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the school nurse, Heather Kral at heather.kral@wimberleyisd.net.
LUNCH EXPECTATIONS
During lunch, students should remain in one of the designated areas:
Cafeteria
Café
Outside picnic tables
If students need to use the restroom during lunch, they should use the facilities in L-Hall, Hallway 2, or Hallway 3.
These expectations are in place to ensure proper supervision, keep everyone safe, and support our custodial staff in maintaining a clean and welcoming campus.
Thank you for doing your part to help us take care of our school!
REMINDER REGARDING TARDIES
Being on time to class helps set the tone for a successful day of learning. When students arrive late, it not only affects their own progress but also disrupts the class flow. Please help us by encouraging your student to be in their classroom before the bell rings each period.
Students are allowed 2 tardies per six weeks without consequence. Starting with the 3rd tardy, consequences are assigned:
Tardy #3: 30-minute detention
Tardy #4: 2-hour detention
Tardy #5: 4-hour detention
Tardy #6 or more: 1–3 days of ISS
Thank you for your support in helping students develop good habits that lead to success!
