Congratulations to Volleyball for securing the Regional Semifinal Championship! They will continue their playoff run on Tuesday vs. the winner of Canyon Lake and El Campo. Our Speech and Debate team had a stellar performance at the Regional Congress Debate meet, advancing Nathan Valley, Austin Howard, and Carys Bowling to the State level. Football continues to fight for the District Championship, which means they need a big win tonight. Best of luck to you all!
Lastly, I would like to express how proud I am of our AMP Mentorship Program and our counseling staff. They took 42 students to the University of Texas for a school tour. Many of the students are first-generation college-bound, and the tour guides were Wimberley graduates, Gage Trudeau and Sophia Vitella. It was a full-circle moment, and gratifying to see our students envision their future selves while our graduates help guide them.
Have a great weekend!

INSTRUCTOR: Debbie Deleeon
Debbie practiced yoga for many years, eventually becoming a certified yoga instructor in 2021. Debbie is excited to share her love of yoga with others, specifically students navigating the stresses with navigating secondary school.
A mother of four sons, Debbie believes that incorporating yoga practice can be a healthy benefit for students. In yoga, stretching and breath work can help decompress life's demands with school work, outside jobs, decisions regarding post-secondary plans, etc.
Yoga asanas (poses/stretches) along with breath work, help to relax and be mindful with oneness of our inner being. It's a wonderful tool to assist with the chaos of life.
Debbie is a retiree with a 21 year career in Texas Public Schools. She is currently a trained WISD Volunteer.

ADMIN UPDATES
ADMIN REMINDERS
As we move further into the semester, we’d like to share a few friendly reminders to help keep our campus focused and running smoothly.
Cell Phones and Digital Devices
Please help us remind students that once they arrive on campus, all personal digital telecommunication devices — including cell phones, smartwatches, and earbuds — should be turned off or placed in airplane mode and stored inside backpacks, not in pockets. Keeping devices out of reach helps reduce distractions, encourages face-to-face interaction, and supports a positive learning environment for everyone.
Dress Code and Pajama Attire
With cooler weather setting in, we’re also seeing more cozy clothing around campus. While we understand the comfort appeal, pajama-type clothing may not be worn to school unless it’s part of a scheduled spirit day. We appreciate your help in reminding students to choose attire that aligns with our campus dress code and maintains a school-appropriate appearance.
Thank you for your continued support in helping us uphold a focused, respectful, and welcoming school environment!
2025-26 ATTENDANCE RECOVERY TIMES
ATTENDANCE REMINDER: Please make sure you are always covering your student's absence with some sort of documentation, even if it is a personal reason. This helps keep the student's attendance clean and avoids any questions of truancy.
All students should present a note upon their arrival to school if they are not here when the bell rings. If you are not signing your student in at the main office, please send a handwritten note or email to amy.bock@wimberleyisd.net so we know you are aware of their tardiness/whereabouts. It will be flagged as truancy otherwise.

This session is designed for parents and their students interested in taking ACC college credit courses in the upcoming Spring and Summer 2026 semesters.
Please REGISTER HERE for the virtual session on Wednesday, November 12th from 5:00 pm-6:00 pm. This virtual session will be recorded!
