Congratulations to the Texan Team Tennis for winning the State Championship! What an excellent way to set the tone for the year. Now, the Girls Cross Country team has a chance to make their mark at State as well. Congratulations to Corina Joyce for finishing 2nd overall, and to the team for qualifying by finishing in 4th place. Best of luck to the Texan Marching Band, which will also compete in the Areal marching contest in Pflugerville this Saturday.
Yesterday, we hosted a college and career fair with colleges represented from across the country. Additionally, representatives from technology companies, cosmetology, first responders, and the military were present. It was a great opportunity for our students to engage in insightful conversations with recruiters as they explored options for their future.
Next week is a short week, but still a lot is going on as it is Senior Week. Our pep rally dedicated to seniors will be held on Thursday during Texan Time, and the Seniors will walk the field to their class song after the football game on Friday night. Just a heads up to senior parents, it is the last home football game, and watching your students soak up the moment as they walk the field for the last time may get a little emotional. It goes by fast!
Have a great weekend!

STUDENT LIFE & CLUBS
TEXAN BAND COMPETES IN UIL REGION
This previous weekend, the Wimberley Texan Band competed at Giddings High School for the UIL Region 18/26 4A Marching Contest. This is the first round of 3, where all Bands are competing against themselves. Bands receiving at least 2/3 Division 1 ratings will be invited to Area (in our case, Area D Marching at Pfield in Pflugerville). At this contest, our students not only received the required 1st division ratings, but also received Sweepstakes (make straight 1's from all judges). With a trophy only allotted to those Bands who also make sweepstakes, we are energized, and setting our sights in a top 5 finish at Area. This would put us in contention to go to State the week of November 3rd. We have high hopes, and are continuing our push to the end of the season.

ADMIN UPDATES
ADMIN REMINDERS
As we move further into the semester, we’d like to share a few friendly reminders to help keep our campus focused and running smoothly.
Cell Phones and Digital Devices
Please help us remind students that once they arrive on campus, all personal digital telecommunication devices — including cell phones, smartwatches, and earbuds — should be turned off or placed in airplane mode and stored inside backpacks, not in pockets. Keeping devices out of reach helps reduce distractions, encourages face-to-face interaction, and supports a positive learning environment for everyone.
Dress Code and Pajama Attire
With cooler weather setting in, we’re also seeing more cozy clothing around campus. While we understand the comfort appeal, pajama-type clothing may not be worn to school unless it’s part of a scheduled spirit day. We appreciate your help in reminding students to choose attire that aligns with our campus dress code and maintains a school-appropriate appearance.
Thank you for your continued support in helping us uphold a focused, respectful, and welcoming school environment!
