It has been an exciting week, with more activity than usual as we host team tennis, volleyball, and football. There was a lot of anticipation for our first pep rally of the year, and it certainly lived up to our expectations. Our cheerleaders, emcees, band, and drill team all performed exceptionally well, making the event a lot of fun. Coach Lambert continued the tradition of leading a school-wide chant, but he added his own twist to it. Hopefully, we will hear it from the student section and the band tonight at our first home football game.
Thank you to all the parents of the class of 2026 who attended our Senior Parent Night. If you were not able to make it, please see the counselor's email from earlier this week with the attached presentation or email them for a copy. Junior Parent Night will be held on Monday, September 22nd.
The end of the first six weeks is only one week away. Please have a conversation with your student about getting to tutorials, studying for tests, turning in work, and being in school each and every day. There is still time to improve averages and finish the six weeks strong.
Have a great weekend!

Why should I take the PSAT? I'm so glad you asked!
You should take the PSAT to prepare for the official SAT, potentially qualify for National Merit Scholarships, and gain insights into college readiness and career options.
Who is the PSAT for? 11th graders. However, we do allow 9th and 10th graders to take it if space is available. 11th grade year is what qualifies you for scholarships and recognition.

Fill out the Google form to officially register. PSAT GOOGLE FORM REGISTRATION
The PSAT has moved to an online platform, Bluebook™. This app has already been installed on your Chromebook. Please log in BEFORE test day so you are familiar with the app. To access Bluebook™, log out of your chromebook, go to the bottom left corner where the apps are and select Bluebook™. You will have to create a college board account in order to log in if you don’t have one already. Four, full-length digital adaptive test forms are available through Bluebook™, College Board’s test delivery platform. Download Bluebook to take practice tests 1–4 using the same interface, format, and scoring as the digital SAT.
