As we reflect on this week last year, it's easy to remember the excitement we experienced. We hosted a basketball tournament, participated in a swim meet in San Antonio, traveled to a playoff football game in the Corpus Christi area, and then hurried to Garland for the Volleyball State Championship game. We have been through this before. Our students, staff, parents, and community members are not only accustomed to these events but also come to expect such achievements in November. While it’s great to anticipate success, let’s not take it for granted. Many schools never experience the level of success that we have, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have these opportunities and the unwavering support of our school community for our students.
Congratulations to all our students on their accomplishments so far, and I wish them the best of luck in their upcoming competitions. More than anything, I want to express my gratitude to our students, staff, parents, and community for being exceptional, working hard, and supporting each other. I am truly honored to be the Principal of Wimberley High School. Wishing everyone a happy Thanksgiving!
Go Texans!

A mother of four sons, Debbie believes that incorporating yoga practice can be a healthy benefit for students. In yoga, stretching and breath work can help decompress life's demands with school work, outside jobs, decisions regarding post-secondary plans, etc.
Yoga asanas (poses/stretches) along with breath work, help to relax and be mindful with oneness of our inner being. It's a wonderful tool to assist with the chaos of life.
Debbie is a retiree with a 21 year career in Texas Public Schools. She is currently a trained WISD Volunteer.

If you are not signing your student in at the main office, please send a handwritten note or email to amy.bock@wimberleyisd.net so we know you are aware of their tardiness/whereabouts.
