PITCH partner

An overview

PITCH is Web Summit Qatar's startup pitching competition, bringing together the world’s leading early-stage startups to battle it out onstage. Founders have the chance to pitch to – and learn from – investors and leaders.

As the exclusive PITCH partner, your brand will be at the centre of the competition and all media coverage associated with it. The competition will be referred to as “PITCH powered by [PARTNER]”, or will use alternative options, such as “supported by” or “in partnership with”.

Branding

Onstage branding including:

A branded PITCH stage at Web Summit Qatar on Day 1:
- Partner logo lock up will feature on the LED stage
- Partner logo lock up will feature on a printed banner near PITCH stage on Day 1
- Opportunity to run a 15 second advert on the digital LED stage on Day 1

Semi-final and final on Centre stage during Day 2 and Day 3:

Partner logo lock up will feature on digital stage loop running during Q&A, and in between pitches and judges’ scorecards.
Partner logo lock up will feature on a loop on digital banner at Centre stage

- Partner logo will feature on the partner registration board.

Partner logo on the PITCH collateral sent to startups and judges.
Partner logo on event website and mobile app, and in a newsletter.

PITCH competition format

Group rounds - Monday

Successful startups will compete in the group rounds. Each startup will have three minutes to pitch their company onstage, followed by a three-minute Q&A with our judging panel. Startups are divided into groups, with the winner of each group progressing to the semi-final, which takes place on Centre Stage. Each group is overseen by a panel of five judges.

Semi-final - Tuesday

Semi-finalists will have three minutes to pitch their businesses to the Centre Stage audience and a panel of esteemed judges. Our judges will then deliberate and choose three finalists to battle it out in the PITCH final.

Final - Wednesday

The PITCH final will take place on Centre Stage. Our three finalists will deliver another three-minute pitch, followed by a three-minute Q&A with our judges.

1 x PITCH final judge position
2 x PITCH semi-final judge positions
5 x PITCH group stage judge positions
