Chief Scout's Silver

The Chief Scout's Silver Award is the highest award a Cub can earn.

To complete it, a Cub Scout needs to complete all seven Challenge Awards (Adventure, Outdoors, Personal, Skills, Teamwork, Team Leader, and World). They'll also need to earn six Activity or Staged Activity Badges.

As part of their Outdoors Challenge Award they'll need to complete three Nights Away.

On this page we celebrate our most recently awarded Silvers.

Elliott

Continuing a great run, Elliott has become our latest Cub to earn his Chief Scout's Silver, again after also completing his Bronze, before continuing his Scouting journey as part of our Scout Troop.

As one of the final requirements, Elliott completed a sponsored walk. Elliott chose Myton Hospice as his charity as they provided support for his Grandfather, and raised £85 from friends, family and neighbours.

Robert

Robert has become our fourth Cub in the last 12 months to complete his Chief Scout's Silver, and like the other three, previously completed his Chief Scout's Bronze as a Beaver.

Kerr

Kerr has become our latest Cub to earn his Chief Scout's Silver (after also completing his Bronze) and he's written some words for us about his achievement:

"Receiving my Silver Award was a great achievement because although it was hard work, I always learnt something along the way. I especially liked getting my Personal Challenge Award because I like getting my lunch box ready for school. They were fun but some you need to never give up and I enjoyed every single one."

Ethan

Ethan became the second Cub in the last few months to achieve his Chief Scout's Silver. Just like Jasper, just in time for Scout investiture. Ethan also achieved his Chief Scout's Bronze as a Beaver. And it now means that we can look at the photo below and see three of our Beavers who are now Scouts and achieved their Bronze and Silver on the way.

Jasper

Jasper became the latest Cub to achieve his Chief Scout's Silver, and just in time for his Scout investiture. Jasper also achieved his Chief Scout's Bronze as a Beaver. And it's great to look back at an old photo and see that of the five 6th Rugby Beavers, three are now 6th Rugby Scouts.
