Sharing, taking turns, and supporting others

We will achieve this by:

• Being calm when we get out during a game

• Giving put ups to those who succeed, and even those who don't

• Be kind to others - you don't know what is behind their behaviour, maybe they have had a bad day already and you might make it worse

• Kōrero pai - use good words to everyone

• Know that the equipment we use at school belongs to everyone and sharing is what we do at Waitara East; you'll get your turn

• Everyone gets a turn, sometimes it isn't your turn, but wait patiently

• Share what you have with others if you feel you should, but they can't bully you to share

• Know that some people need more help than others, more equipment than others and that is ok - they need more help than you do to be able to do what you can do with no help. Think of others.

Success Indicator:

• There will be lots of people having fun

• There will be no incidents in the playground

• Everyone gets a chance to share
