The California Dream Act Application allows eligible students interested in attending eligible California Colleges, Universities and Career Education Programs to apply for state financial aid.
You are undocumented, have valid or expired DACA status, have a U-Visa or are on Temporary Protected Status. You can fill out the CADAA to access:
— State scholarships.
— Grants.
— Student loans.

Mission Vista High School is committed to expanding post-secondary financial aid opportunities such that students are able to pursue a future of their choice. To this end, all students are expected to complete either the FAFSA application for federal student aid or the California Dream Act by February 2nd.
Additional assistance for completion of the application is available in the Mission Vista Center for Student Support Office. Families may also receive support through the California Student Aid Commission.
Parents/ Guardians wishing to waive this graduation expectation and opt-out of receiving all post-secondary financial aid may do so by completing this waiver. Students who are 18 years of age may complete the waiver independent of their parent/ guardian. Completed waivers must be submitted to the MVHS Center for Student Support Office no later than March 2nd.
Students and families can attend FREE Cash for College workshops, hosted by the California Student Aid Commission, across California for help completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act (CADAA) and Chafee Grant for Foster Youth applications.
Their mission is to help low-income and first generation college-goers complete the application process so you can access financial aid for education and career/technical training beyond high school.
