SCHEDULE CHANGE REQUEST INFORMATION

Schedule change requests will be considered during the following windows: 

Beginning with the first school day of each term, students have five school days (ten days for Level Change - see below) to request class changes. From the eleventh school day through the fifteenth school day, only exceptional changes (including Level Changes) will be considered; all require administrative approval.

Class changes will only be considered for the following reasons:

Students must request schedule changes by completing the online counselor specific Schedule Change Request Form on this page. Students requiring a class change after the 10th day of the Term or at the MidTerm must fill out a schedule change request form (with all necessary signatures) and submit it to the Counseling Office. Requests for elective changes, "teacher changes", specific periods or specific terms will not be considered. Students with a teacher concern should see their assigned assistant principal.

You will be notified of revised schedules via VUSD student email and parent email (as provided by student in the form) of your schedule change status within 1-3 school days.

If a student withdraws from a class with written parental permission and administrative approval on or after the sixteenth day of the semester, he or she will receive a "W/F" as a final grade in that class. Please refer to the section "Course Withdrawal Form" for more information.
