MYOs and customs both work very similarly, using many of the same items and having the same base rules!
A MYO Scroll or Custom Pelt will allow you to design your own beblune that you can customize with tokens, ichors and charms!
Rules
A token is needed for each trait being used. So if you are wanting to use three rare traits for example, you will need three rare tokens! The same is applied for ichors and mutations. There is no limit to the amount of traits used, so long as the traits do not conflict!
Stud traits, hybrid traits and event exclusive mutations are not permitted to be used on MYOs or custom designs!
You do not have to be the one to design your MYO! You may commission other members to create a design for you, but keep in mind you will still need all your corresponding items for approval.
Clothing, accessories and scars may be added to your design, but you may be asked for a separate file version if the design of the beblune is too obscured.
You do not have to draw the design yourself for a custom, but we do require a written description in order to bring your idea to life! You are welcome to provide moodboards and palettes as well!
A MYO Scroll is used to create a beblune by yourself, while a Custom Pelt is used to have a group artist create a beblune to your specifications!
Tokens are used to add traits to your beblune. Each type of token corresponds with the rarity of trait you are adding to your beb, and are used with both customs and MYOs. One token is equal to one trait, and you may use more than one token to add more than one trait of the same rarity!
You can find a list of all available traits here
Ichors are used to add minor and major mutations to your beblune! A shimmering ichor will add one minor mutation of your choice to your design, and a brilliant ichor will add one major mutation of your choice to your design.
You can find the list of available minor mutations here
You can find the list of available major mutations here
Want to have a subspecies or hybrid instead of a beblune for your MYO or Custom? You absolutely can! Add a corresponding species charm to create a subspecies, or use a heart quartz to create a hybrid! You do not need to use charms with a quartz for a hybrid.
Do traits have any rules I need to follow?
Beblunes may only have one coat trait at a time!
Face traits cannot stack, but a beblune with multi-heads may have a different face trait on each head!
Most wing traits cannot stack, but can combine with the hybrid traits short wings and long wings. Beblunes with multi-wings can have different wing traits for each pair.
Most horn traits cannot be combined, except for single horn. Crystal horn on the other hand, MUST be combined with another horn trait to be visible! Beblunes can have two sets of horns on their head, they can either be the same horn trait or different horn traits.
Traits that may have more than one set will require a token for each set! As an example: If you want two sets of tail wings, you will need two ultra rare tokens.
Absent traits cannot be combined with other traits.
Traits are symmetrical in how they effect the body. As an example, if you are using a wing trait, you cannot have the trait only effect one wing, it must be both!
What do I do when I have finished my MYO?
Once you have all the items you need and your design finished, you simply need to fill out the form to have your design reviewed! You may submit your design either to our journal on DeviantArt here, or submit your design to our MYO Approvals channel on discord!
Once submitted, the mod team will review the design and either comment to let you know if something needs to be edited, or that it is approved! If the design is approved, it will be uploaded to our Masterlist. You do not need to wait for your design to be uploaded before you start drawing your beblune!
What do I do when I am ready to submit my custom?
Once you have a solid idea of what you would like for your custom and all the items you need, you will need to fill out the form here in our inventory journal. Remember, the more information and details you can give the group artists to work with, the better! Once you have commented, a member of the group artists will pick up your design and bring your idea to life! The artist may reach out to you during the design process for feedback. The final design will be uploaded to the masterlist!
