Not much is known about the ancient worshippers of the obsidian gem's patron, Aglaeca. All that is known for sure is that many, many years ago, Aglaeca's sect was completely eradicated from Taurnar. No one knows what crimes justified their extermination, but most beblune view the worship of Aglaeca and its obsidian gems as unsavory and taboo, or even evil. It is usually the outcast and forgotten or, yes, evil beblune that are drawn to this gem and the Tectore it represents.
1. Void Aura
The beblune can manipulate shadows in their immediate vicinity. These shadows are so deep that only the light of the Aura Quartz can penetrate them
2. Second Shadow
The beblune appears to have an extra shadow. It seems to have a mind of its own
3. Induce Misfortune
The beblune's touch can cause others bad luck for a limited amount of time
4. Night Vision
The beblune is able to see clearly no matter how dark their surroundings are
5. Malefic Aura
The beblune has a bad vibe, causing anyone in their immediate vicinity to feel ill at ease and unsafe
6. Visions of Misfortune
The beblune can force horrific visions of death, loss, destruction, and misery onto the minds of others, but they only last a few seconds
7. Oozing Oil
This beblune oozes a thick black oil that suffocates life it touches
8. Misdirection
This beblune can easily misdirect others, causing confusion and possible harm to befall them
9. Shaded Step
This beblune seems to fade away in the shadows for a short time at will; they are harder than normal to detect for the duration
1. Sentient Shadow
The beblune's shadow is now a permanent companion, able to speak and interact with the world around them. Whether or not it listens to its master depends on the beblune
2. Summon Darkness
The beblune can manipulate darkness, to the point that they are able to block out the sun in the middle of the day. Only the light of the Aura Quartz can penetrate this darkness
3. Curse Being
The beblune can inflict a curse of extreme misfortune and despair on anyone they can directly view. In unintelligent creatures, this can cause unhinged panic and rage.
4. Indoctrination
The beblune can invade their target’s mind and bend them to their will
5. Bone Manipulation
The beblune can manipulate the bones of itself and any other organism
6. Eclipse
The beblune is able to cause a solar or lunar eclipse at will
7. Dark Haven
The beblune can cast a dark ward over the entrance to any dwelling, rendering it visible only to those who have been outcast by society. As long as the beblune’s intentions to shelter the unwanted remains strong, the ward will never waver
8. Hellfire
The beblune can summon unholy black flames that cause excruciating pain on contact, damaging and corrupting a being’s soul rather than their physical form. The flames can also be used to trap and even destroy holy spirits
9. Shadow Form
The beblune can transform their entire body into pure darkness at will. The darkness always retains the beblune’s original shape
10. Malefic Force
The beblune can manipulate the morality of other beings, causing them to have abominable thoughts and even carry out heinous crimes. However, the beblune cannot directly control their target’s actions
11. Demonic Form
The beblune can take on a monstrous, demonic appearance at will
12. Summon Shades
The beblune can summon shadow creatures to do their bidding. The more shades they summon, the shorter the time they will remain in our realm
13. Liturgy of Ruin
The song this beblune sings causes creatures to fall to their knees in despair and can cause insanity
14. Water to Oil
The beblune is capable of turning pools of water to thick, tar-like oil that suffocates all life within it. The amount of water a beblune converts is directly tied to the amount of energy they consume while using this ability
