This region is dominated by a bitter tundra and mysterious monolithic structures. It is considered taboo to eat of these monoliths, but no one remembers why - or how they came to be in the first place. It is a difficult land to reside in, but some sturdy groups manage on its southern edge, as well as the icy shores. If the ground thawed out a bit, it would show rich iron deposits, with hematite and other stones gathering under each of the monoliths. But don’t ask how that information came to us. No one wants the consequences of digging there! (world of zekira)
This region was named for the shape of the crystalline rock races seen throughout the area. The crystal that grows here is very reflective, giving some areas a very "House of Mirrors" feel. (velnyx)
Taurnar's Bite is known as a death trap among Beblune, as many Beblune have gone missing just by flying near this region. The most commonly spread story of Taurnar's Bite is of a young Beblune who had just experienced their first flight, flew towards the jaws of Taurnar's Bite, and spotted large amounts of Prism Seeds inside; deceived by the promise of riches, the young Beblune flew inside as the land rose up and swallowed the young Beblune whole, and trapping the young Beblune deep underneath in a cave system, never to be seen again. It is said that the spirit of that young Beblune still haunts Taurnar's Bite and is after other Beblune to fly close enough to join him in the cursed region of Taurnar's Bite. (zulabrokenwing)

The most dangerous and prolific active volcano in all of Taurnar. Its daily warning rumbles can be sensed for miles around. The floons that inhabit the city of Ignit at the base of the volcano are believed to help prevent eruptions, their dens and tunnels helping to divert lava flows.
The deep, permanent scar of the impact of a meteor. It is believed to have something to do with the creation of beblune, as if the meteor released the creatures from Taurnar's core. Some particularly strange beblune believe Ragrock's eruptions are more beblune trying to escape.

This series of southern islands and peninsulas is dangerous more for its inhabitants than its rough terrain, but don’t underestimate the land itself. It is clear that numerous volcanoes erupted in sequence in this area long ago, leaving massive concentrations of thin obsidian in stretches that can shatter and kill anything that moves across its sharp edges. Picking through those obsidian traps is difficult on foot, but also in the air, for some of it reflects the sun in a dazzling display that can disorient a flier. Small birds and mammals reside in the rich forests that grow around the old lava flows, and some use the obsidian to line their own nests for protection. (world of zekira)
