These mutations cause abnormal colors to appear anywhere on the body!
Color Mutations can affect the entire body unless otherwise stated.
- Color mutations can completely replace the color/pattern underneath or change the colors of the patterns below them.
The body lacks red pigment, resulting in an increase of cool tones, creating a blue and/or grey tone.
Can appear in patches across the body or cover it fully.
Includes Maltese Dilution.
The colors and/or markings are completely different on either side of the body.
Can be asymmetrical.
Parts of the body are unnaturally colored.
Including but not limited to: bones, teeth, pupils, internal organs, blood, etc.
Some Traits, Mutations, and Sub Species, have naturally occurring discoloration in specific locations (such as Mowl's teeth and tongue) that do NOT require Discolored Parts.
The body has an excess of red pigment, resulting in loss of cool tones, creating a red, pink, copper, or orange tone.
Can appear in patches across the body or cover it fully.
The eye(s) are different colors.
Can also display as sectoral or radial heterochromia.
The body lacks melanin, resulting in a loss of color to the affected areas.
Appears as white or off-white, and can affect eye color.
Can cause light pink/red coloration on surfaces like noses, paw pads, bare skin, etc.
Can appear in patches across the body or cover it fully.
Includes: Albinism, Vitiligo, Piebald, etc.
The body has an excess of melanin, resulting in an overproduction of color in the affected areas.
Appears as varying black tones and can affect eye color (but not the sclera).
Can appear as patches or cover the entire body.
Patches of color look like they've been splashed across the body!
Patches of new color(s)/marking(s) appear on the body, either following the original design or completely replacing it.
Can cover up to 50% of the body.
Cannot be used to mimic the Leucism or Melanism Mutations.

- These mutations primarily affect smaller areas of the body, such as markings, claws, toes, tongue, eyes, and ears.
- Mutations ending in “_Parts” can affect up to 6 SMALL parts.
A small body part(s) has gone missing!
If affecting a body part responsible for the senses, they will lose that sense. (Ex, absent eyes cause blindness)
A subtle glow emits from markings on the body.
Can affect up to 50% of the body.
Certain parts of the body are in excess!
The tongue is split, resembling that of snakes and lizards.
Parts of the body are larger than normal.
Allows for the size change of any small body parts.
Body parts still retain their proportions regardless of size.
Parts of the body emit a subtle or bright glow.
Brightness cannot be controlled.
Can affect up to 25% of the body.
Hair grows from the head, chin, and/or jaw, can be a small tuft or long wavy locks.
The hair can be any style or texture, regardless of coat traits, and can optionally appear as feathers.
Cannot exceed the length of the body.
Can combine with Back Mane to extend down the neck/back.
Something didn’t quite form right.
Includes minor malformations such as polydactyl, polycaudal, lip deformities, protruding teeth, split jaw, etc.
The claws are unnaturally long.
Gives visible claws to species that do not exhibit claws and doubles the length of species with existing claws.
The pupils have a unique shape!
Includes: Vertical/horizontal, stars, squares, etc.
Parts of the body are sticky, potentially even strong enough to climb walls!
It can present as simply a sticky area of the body or more akin to the grooves on a gecko’s feet.
Can affect up to 25% of the body.
Parts of the body are smaller than normal.
Allows for the size change of any small body parts.

Parts of the body are completely (or partially) see-through.
Can affect up to 25% of the body.
Can display as splotchy-like markings or affect specific limbs/body parts.
Can also affect/show internal body structures such as organs, muscles, and bones.
These mutations exhibit unusual and almost mystical changes in the recipient.
All rules below apply ONLY to Elemental Mutations unless otherwise stated.
These mutations can include organic/inorganic materials in various states of matter, including but not limited to fire, water, metals, plants, blood, etc.
Can cover up to 25% of the body unless stated otherwise.
Elemental Mutations do not need to exhibit the same material across the body.
Can ooze both silver and gold using the oozing mutation.
Halo and Oozing both don’t need to be made of water.
Afflicted body parts maintain their normal, non-mutated use unless chosen otherwise.
Ex. Crystal eyes can still see, a metal nose can still smell, etc.
These mutations in minor form do NOT cause harm and do NOT provide resistance or immunity to the chosen material, due to its harmless nature.
The chosen material(s) maintain a minor effect based on what they are, which can affect the world around it.
Ex. Ink can be used to draw on a canvas. Water can be used to water plants. Fire can emit heat and light, but can’t cause burns directly. Ice can be cold to the touch, but can't cause frostbite. etc.
The material can optionally be affected by the surrounding environment.
Ex. Rain can put fire(s) out temporarily. A gust of wind can cause ripples in water.
While not inherently controllable, the minor form of these mutations can be affected by the user’s emotional state and the outside environment.
Ex. Anger/Sadness can cause fire to burn brighter/dimmer, or water sources like rain can cause the fire to go out temporarily.
A subtle glow outlines the entire body.
Can be one or multiple colors regardless of shade/brightness.
Ex. Black, Red, Gradient, Rainbow, etc.
The body is covered in material such as crystals, plants, stone, magma, etc. that ‘sprout’ from the body.
Does not replace body parts; instead, it emerges from the body.
Parts of the body are replaced by a new material such as crystals, plants, stone, fire etc.
Ex. A single limb, teeth, back mane/spikes, tail tip, etc.
The body exudes gases or small particles.
Ex. mist, embers, smoke, sand, bubbles, spores, and more.
Cracks, Veins, or Scars that are visible on the surface of the body that contain and/or emit a substance (Ex. ores such as gold, flames, electricity, etc).
Fissures can appear on both hard surfaces (Ex. claws, horns, bones, etc) and soft surfaces (Ex. skin, flesh, coat covering such as fur, etc) on the body.
Can optionally emit a faint glow/sparkle.
Rings of any substance/shape/pattern encircle around or behind parts of the body, often spinning.
Can be made up of random shapes/transparent materials like Spades/Aces and light rays, or more physical materials like water, rocks, etc.
Can have 1 to 6 ‘rings’.
Does not have to be a fully enclosed circle.
Cannot exceed the size of the body.
Cannot be controlled or moved around freely, but CAN still be affected by wind/movement and can maintain an idle bobbing motion when staying still.
A foreign liquid oozes from the body.
Ex. Water, Oil, Slime, Honey, Liquid Metals, Blood, etc.
Orbs of any substance/shape/pattern float alongside the body, often emitting an optional faint glow.
Can be made up of random shapes/transparent materials like Spades/Aces and Light, or more physical materials like Water, Rocks, Fire etc.
Can have 1 to 6 ‘orbs’.
Must be close to and follow the body. (Ex. Cannot be floating off in a corner where it would look detached from the body.)
Cannot exceed the size of the paw.
Cannot be controlled or moved around freely, but CAN still be affected by wind/movement and can maintain an idle bobbing motion when staying still.
These mutations do not fit any other category and generally follow their own unique rules!
