Queen Palm

Syagrus romanzoffiana

Native to: South America

• Size: Grows up to 60+ feet and is a fast growing palm
• Sun: Full to part sun, tolerates both summer heat and winter frost
• Hardiness: to around 25 degrees
• Water: Medium (2 times weekly during dry months)
• Flowers: Long Yellow sprays up to 5 feet in length
• Attracts: pollenating insects when blooming, birds and small mammals when fruiting
• Pests: None observed, but can include mealybug, aphids, and scale.
• Other Information: Easy to find, easy to grow, just give it water and fertilizer
