  • Other Information: David Bowie Dragon Fruit is a variety from the genus Hylocereus and the species undatus. The plant is very typical when compared to other Hylocereus undatus. Stems, flower bud, and flowers are nearly identical and self-pollinating like most. This fruit is slightly different with more fins than average and the taste of the fruit is uniquely different. It has typical white flesh and pinkish reddish skin and green fins. The taste of the flesh is sweet and tangy flavor with a lemony aftertaste. Sizes of fruit range from medium to large weighing up to a 1.25 pound. The plant overall is slower growing taking an extra year or two to fill in nicely.
