Grevillea 'Firesprite'
Grevillea 'Firesprite' created by Merv Hodge was the result of crossing the stunning long-styled red-flowering Grevillea longystyla with the beautiful yellow-flowering Grevillea venusta.
Native to: Australia
- Size: prunable hedge (about 6-10+ feet) Some say 15+ feet and I concur!
- Sun: Full to part sun, (part sun in Southern California inland)
- Hardiness: to around 25-30 degrees
- Water: Medium (2 times weekly during dry months)
- Flowers: red (Year round blooms)
- Attracts: humming birds
- Other Information: beautiful foliage, drought tolerant, prune to avoid wind damage *No phosphorus fertilizer!
