As each class is a bouquet of mixed abilities, similarly, each student has its own issues with #Essay_Type_Questions. Some want easy tips to score more, a few of them want easy tips to write better answer, fewer want to know how to improve the quality of answer.

It is this last group of learners thay inspires to spare time for them from hectic schedule, in between ongoing university examination.

Due to constant flow of work, administrative glitches, and some urgent outstation academic assignments, it was nearly impossible to arrange this workshop. However, some students inquired for it and hence thought of stealing some time for this workshop. At the end of the day, it was satisfying to see that these fewer thought that they benefitted from the sessions.

Dr. Heenaba Zala and Vaidehi Hariyani analysed internal test answer-books to identify common #language, #structural and #grammatical errors.

Ndoricimpa Clement analysed answer paper with reference to organising #argumentation and giving shape to essay type answers.

In last session, we discussed about 2018 #UGC regulation to curb plagiarism, penalty to students and teachers ~ use of Urkund for analysis of originality in writing #assignments and discussed a few sample reports on #plagiarism check.

We also worked on self-evaluating essay type answers with the help of #rubric prepared specifically for students. At the end of the day, suggested to refer to Aalto Uni study material on Academic Wiring:
