Evaluation of Participants

The participants will be assessed on daily bases in Google Classroom. The participants will have to submit minimum 6 assignments, 4 online tests & final presentation.

The grading should be as follows:

(i) A+: 85 percent and above

(ii) A: 70 per cent to less than or equal to 84 percent

(iii) B: 60 per cent to less than or equal to 69 per cent

(iv) C: 50 per cent to less than or equal to 59 per cent

(v) F: Below 49 per cent

The total marks are to be fixed at 100 and the same may be decided in the following manner:

Assignments – 6 (25%)

Online Tests – 4 (25%)

Final Presentation – (50%)

Important Instructions for Evaluation:

  1. The Assignments and online tests shall be submitted in Google Classroom. Instructions will be given during live sessions.

  2. In 'Final Presentation', the participants are expected to show screen shots of the work done in group. The group work will be explained during live sessions. Necessary roadmap will be explained in the live session.

  3. The 'Final Presentation' session will be on 20th June 2020. Only those participants who submitted their final presentation on 19th June 2020 (before 7 pm) will be scheduled for the 'Final Presentation'.

  4. The eFDP will not be considered complete without a final presentation which will be video recorded for future reference.

  5. The grade / mark redressal session will be on 21st June 2020. Timings will be announced in the live session.

Learning Outcome

On successful completion of this online faculty development programme, the participants will be able to:

  1. conduct online remote live classes using web platforms like Google Meet

  2. manage large classes over learning management system like Google Classroom

  3. share material with students using cloud storage like Google Drive

  4. upload learning videos to YouTube

  5. create learning playlists of video resources over YouTube

  6. take online tests in Google Classroom

  7. assess learners in Google Classroom

It is expected that, on successful completion of this online fdp, the participants will be ready for emergency remote teaching in the time of covid-19 crisis.

Feedback and Certificate

  1. It is mandatory to submit a feedback form to avail certificate of participation/presentation in the eFDP.

  2. The feedback form shall be filled in before 23rd June 2020, 8pm.

  3. Only those who completed the online faculty development programme will get a certificate. The drop-outs will not be awarded certificates of participation.

  4. The names typed in the feedback form will be reflected in the certificate. If you want to change the name, please mention the 'name' on which you want the certificate in the feedback form.
