Commonly known as a Simultaneous interpretation it is one of the many types of translations in use for business purposes. The major difference between the general translation and simultaneous translation is that it is done by an interpreter.
A translator can be an interpreter as well with strong audio skills. Simultaneous translation is performed when a speaker (the client) is talking while the translator/interpreter listens and transmits the message into the target language.

Classes with Professor Andre Dumoulin will always be my favorite.
I don't need to be 100% in his classes and I will always learn something new, because of his clear way of leaving the instructions, the material he provides us to guide us, the tools he encourages us to use; which in the end work for us for other subjects and our jobs.
The only suggestion I could offer for these classes is that in addition to making us practice English, continue using other tools, because this way your classes will never be boring.
Regarding the subject as such, I have been able to learn the following through the modules that a simultaneous translation class in English must have several important elements to be effective:
Appropriate equipment: This includes interpretation booths, headphones, microphones and transmission equipment to ensure clear and accurate communication between the interpreter and participants.
Professionalism: Students must learn to maintain composure and concentration during long periods of interpretation, maintaining accuracy and fluency in their translations.
Language Knowledge: Students must have advanced proficiency in both English and the target language to be able to accurately interpret and correctly convey the meaning and tone of speech.
Constant practice: Regular practice of simultaneous interpretation is essential to develop skills such as active listening, mental speed and the ability to make quick and accurate linguistic decisions.
Technical Knowledge: Students should become familiar with the use of interpretation software, sound equipment, and related technology to perform efficiently and professionally.
