Valero Vision Program

The TXHSWS Valero Vision Program is a student support initiative designed to remove barriers to success by providing vision screening opportunities for high school welding students participating in Texas High School Welding Series events.

Through this partnership, students have access to services that help identify potential vision needs — an essential factor for safety, precision, and overall performance in welding environments. Clear vision plays a critical role in reading welding procedure specifications (WPS), interpreting drawings, maintaining situational awareness, and producing high-quality welds.
