Children's Treatment Recommendations

From The CDC/IDSA

(NOT RECOMMENDED BY THOSE WHO KNOW BETTER)

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) supported the Infectious Diseases Society of America's (IDSA) Lyme disease treatment guidelines for over two decades, even long after they expired and were removed from the national guidelines website under a cloud of shame.

QUOTE- Attorney General of CT- "The IDSA's 2006 Lyme disease guideline panel undercut its credibility by allowing individuals with financial interests -- in drug companies, Lyme disease diagnostic tests, patents and consulting arrangements with insurance companies -- to exclude divergent medical evidence and opinion." Source

The CDC/IDSA recommendations and millions spent in research grants (supported by insurers to save money) totally failed to control the epidemic, failed to produce a test for Lyme disease that doesn't miss 74.9% of those infected, and left countless children to become chronically ill or disabled as they suffered from a failed treatment protocol.

The CDC/IDSA recommendations are shared below in hopes that if you have a child who has been exposed to Lyme and tick borne diseases that you will know what protocols failed in the event your doctor or insurer attempts to 'sell you' on this failed treatment protocol.

CDC/IDSA Treatment Protocol for Children

Linked below is the most recent CDC chart showing treatment protocols. To be clear, this protocol is NOT recommended by experts with years of experience treating children with Lyme disease.

Dr. Dan Cameron's Comments On

The Failed Treatment Protocols

As Dr. Cameron states- IDSA Guideline author, Dr. Eugene Shapiro's, interview (video) "sends a misleading and alarming message to clinicians, as well as family members serving as advocates for their children."
