There is no successful "one size fits all" protocol when it comes to treating children or adults with acute or chronic Lyme and tick borne diseases.
To date, the best recommendations come from a document prepared by Dr. Joseph J. Burrascano, Jr. which can be found here.
I highly recommend reading it all the way through and to also spend time educating yourself as much as possible about Lyme and tick borne diseases.

Personal Note- After over 30 years of assisting sick patients, helping to educate doctors and our volunteer organizations and advocates, I personally recommend at all costs to avoid infectious disease doctors, neurologists and others who have no clue and/or who have been miserably unsuccessful with anything Lyme related.
If you have any doubts about the accuracy of their information, ask yourself.... How Wrong Can They Be?
And, bottom line... If Camp A were right, there wouldn't be a Camp B.
